Romanian Radio Children’s Choir

Founded in 1945, the Romanian Radio Children’s Choir became rapidly an important ensemble in the Romanian musical landscape. Its founder – conductor Ion Vanica – and successors Elena Vicica and Eugenia Văcărescu Necula made decisive contributions to the ensemble’s artistic destiny, turning it into an essential school for the musical education of the younger generation.

Voicu Popescu - Conductor

He graduated the courses of the Bucharest Music University, Composition-Musicology and Pedagogy Faculty, in 1975. As a member of the National Chamber Choir “Madrigal” directed by Marin Constantin, in the period 1974-1988, he took part in all his artistic events, tours, national and international festivals.
